DFS to showcase luxury at inaugural China International Consumer Products Expo

CHINA. DFS Group is to join the first China International Consumer Products Expo to be held in Hainan on May 7-10, pledging to feature a luxury brand line-up across various categories.

As reported, DFS opened the first phase of a spectacular new downtown duty-free retail complex in Haikou Mission Hills, Hainan, on 30 January in partnership with Shenzhen Duty Free Group.

The Expo is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, and is the first state-level exhibition to focus on consumer products. It is being organised by Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB).

DFS pledged to showcase what it described as its unparalleled expertise in luxury merchandising in partnership with some of the world’s leading brands; award-winning store design; and innovative and personal approach to in-store and online customer experience.

DFS said: “Attending the Consumer Expo is a demonstration of the importance that DFS attaches to the China market. DFS is committed to building Hainan into a centre of international tourism consumption, promoting the development of modern service industry in Hainan, and supporting the Hainan Free Trade Port’s goals.”

Investing in Hainan: On 30 January DFS Group and partner Shenzhen Duty Free Group inaugurated phase one of their spectacular new downtown duty free retail complex in Haikou Mission Hills, Hainan. The completed retail complex will span over 30,000sq m of stunning space in two years.
