Travel accessories business Go Travel has named Denz Van Der List as VP of Sales. He is well known in the travel retail channel from previous senior roles with specialists in the same category.
Miami-based Van Der List’s role is a newly-created position. London-headquartered Go Travel said the appointment is a key part of its strategy to build a more global presence in travel retail.
The company added that it is aggressively targeting growth in Asia, the Middle East and continuing to expand in the Americas.
Van Der List told The Moodie Davitt Report: “It is exciting to be part of a company that is well established and well known in the industry. There is a lot of growth opportunity for the brand and I am looking forward to being a part of that journey.”
Van Der List’s most recent position was as North America Commercial Director for Gate Gourmet. He has spent much of the last decade working in the travel retail industry including senior sales positions with travel accessories brands Cabeau and CabinZero.
Go Travel Vice Chairman Glenn Rogers said: “We are delighted to be working with Denz as the company ramps up its global distribution; both domestic and international travellers are our targets in 2023.”
