Dallas/Fort Worth Airport salutes Gameway with award for business performance

USA. Video game lounge brand Gameway has received the 2022 Business Performance Small Operator Award from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Offering entertainment experiences, Gameway opened two locations at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in 2018 and has since expanded throughout the US. It currently runs six locations with more to follow this year.

Its outlets are equipped with individual gaming stations, fitted out with PlayStation or Xbox game consoles and Razer gaming PCs. There are also high-end Razer gaming accessories as well as lounge chairs and Razer gaming chairs, alongside a selection of drinks and snacks offered by the staff.

Gameway outlets also feature pre-downloaded games including popular titles such as Fortnite, FIFA, NBA2K, Madden, Call of Duty, Minecraft, and Rocket League, among others.

In a LinkedIn post, Gameway Co-Founder Jordan Walbridge said: “Emma and I are incredibly proud to have Gameway win DFW’s 2022 Business Performance Small Operator. We opened our first two locations at the DFW airport in 2018 with dreams to expand Gameway throughout the country.

“We now have six locations with many more opening in 2023 but this award from DFW is a special reminder of how hard we’ve worked, how great our team is and how proud we are to be the owners of Gameway.
