AMERICAS. Lagardère Travel Retail Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dag Rasmussen will deliver the keynote address at the 2022 Summit of the Americas, which takes place in Palm Beach, Florida, from 10-13 April. The event is organised by US duty free association IAADFS.
“I am delighted that Dag will be joining us as our keynote speaker to kick off our excellent conference programme,” said IAADFS Chairman René Riedi. “His depth and breadth of experience in travel retail will allow him to share some unique perspectives for our attendees.”

Rasmussen will share his thoughts on the status of the industry and its recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. He will also provide information on how Lagardère Travel Retail has weathered the pandemic, and the latest company developments.
He has been Chairman and CEO of the Paris-based travel retailer since 2011, and played a key role in ensuring travel retail is among Lagardère Group’s core activities.
The conference begins on Monday 11 April, with Rasmussen leading a strong line-up of sessions. Following the keynote, The Moodie Davitt Report and the Airport Restaurant & Retail Association will lead a panel discussion on the path out of crisis for the airport concessions industry across retail and dining.
