Create your own chocolate recipe – Rosalie’s launches Cannes competition

Rosalie’s will create the winning chocolate recipes as personalised editions

Do you harbour dreams of creating your own chocolate recipe? Or have ambitions to show your strengths as a master of chocolate? Now, confectionery brand Rosalie’s is offering you the chance to bring your ideas to reality through an industry competition in association with The Moodie Davitt Report, culminating at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

The three best ideas will be submitted to Manufacture Belge de Chocolats Chef Chocolatier Noel Le Jeune who will then hand-craft the chocolates as a personalised edition. The winners will be announced (and receive ten gift-boxes of their creations as prizes) on each of the first three days of TFWA World Exhibition on the Rosalie’s stand, Yellow Village A17.

Manufacture Belge de Chocolats Chef Chocolatier Noel Le Jeune will have the final say on the winning recipes

The rules are simple:

Create your own dream chocolate recipe. If you are bursting with ideas, you can submit multiple recipes, though only one can be a winner. Your ideas can be submitted at this link.

Collaboration is allowed, so you can team up with your colleague or friends. Entrants must work in the travel retail industry.

The only restriction is that recipes should not contain either alcohol or peanuts.

Entries close on Friday 9 September.

By submitting a recipe you accept that you have no copyright over any ingredient(s) used. The decision of the Master Chocolatier is final.

The opportunity to have a chocolate recipe developed by a master of chocolate is a rare one, as Rosalie’s brand representative Gerry Murray (of Traveller’s Trove) said: “Our Maître Chocolatier will personally create by hand your chocolates in our kitchens, where high quality chocolates have been made for over 100 years, using our high quality sustainably sourced couverture chocolate.

“We will pack them in an elegant Rosalie’s gift box personalised with your chosen message. Ten of the ultimate personalised, limited editions shall be produced for each of our winners.

As noted above, Rosalie’s will announce, taste, and celebrate one selected recipe per day at 17.45 on each of the first three days of the show. If you are not in Cannes, the company will connect you virtually to the celebration.

Murray said: “We look forward to some great recipes, some fun and we wish you all good luck and loving kindness in your endeavours.”
