  • Parts of the Spanish capital Madrid are to be subject to lockdown restrictions from Monday
  • The UK posted 4,322 new cases and 27 deaths on Friday, the highest number of daily infections since 8 May. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said a second wave is now “inevitable”.
  • Restrictions are being tightened in six regions and cities in the Netherlands, including the capital Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
