Coty has extended the Gucci Beauty makeup range with a new liquid highlighter and makeup quad palette range. Both are now available in travel retail.
Illuminateur de Beauté
The Illuminateur de Beauté is a liquid highlighter that creates a radiant glow on the skin. It is Gucci Beauty’s first liquid highlighter.
The Illuminateur de Beauté is a multi-use product that nourishes and hydrates the skin for up to 12 hours. It brightens the complexion when used on bare skin, creates a halo effect when used with primers and foundations and gives skin a radiant glow when used on both the face and body.
Its formula is enriched with ultra-thin spheric pearls and pearlescent pigments that illuminate the skin by reflecting light in different directions. The highlighter offers a black rose, lily and daisy floral scent and comes in a universally flattering gold shade.
It is housed in an elegant vintage-inspired glass bottle with a gold ribbed ring on the neck and hot stamping on the glass. It comes with a pink dropper and pipette.
The Illuminateur de Beauté campaign falls under the tagline ‘Universal Shade, Unique Glow’ and highlights the product’s glass bottle and dropper. It was photographed by French photographer Charles Negre with art direction from Lolita Jacobs & Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone.
Palette De Beauté Quatuor
The Palette De Beauté Quatuor is Gucci Beauty’s first quad palette, offering colour cosmetics for eyes, lips and cheeks. It is available in three expressions: two universal pink and brown colourways and one pop quad which is inspired by the house’s bold signature hues: Valentine Verdante and Marina Scarlett. The quad palette expressions are called Summerina Brown, Rosa Nitida and Wild Bouquet.
The palette comprises four multi-use, buildable shades that blend easily to create a layered effect. The formula is easy-to-wear and long lasting, with three powder formulas in satin and matte finishes and one cream formula to be used on eyes, lips and cheeks. The cream takes inspiration from Gucci Beauty’s popular lipstick line and can be used all over the face to create a blush effect.
The Palette De Beauté Quatuor collection is housed in a gold compact embellished with vintage-inspired decoration. The portable palette opens up to reveal a beauty mirror and double-ended applicator brush to be used on-the-go.
The Palette De Beauté Quatuor campaign takes inspiration from the yearly ritual of taking yearbook photos. It features a colourful group photo which highlights the myriad makeup combinations that can be achieved using the palettes.
The campaign was photographed by Hong Kong-born/French-raised Thurstan Redding and features the work of Gucci Beauty Makeup Artist Thomas de Kluyver. It was also art directed by Lolita Jacobs & Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone. ✈
