Coty extends Burberry Her line with launch of Burberry Her Blossom

Coty has introduced Burberry Her Blossom, which follows the launch of the British brand’s new pillar fragrance, Burberry Her Eau de Parfum, last year.

Created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the new edt is a light and fruity fragrance. It has top notes of mandarin and pink peppercorn, heart notes of plum blossom and peony, and base notes of musk and sandalwood.

The Burberry Her Blossom flacon design is inspired by the British house’s first fragrance, Burberrys for Men, launched in 1981 – updated with a white cap.

“Burberry Her Eau de Toilette was inspired by London’s parks in spring,” Kurkdjian said. “The combination of plum blossoms, citrus notes and delicate peony petals create an unexpected floral breeze, and the addition of creamy sandalwood and hints of musk combine in this alluring and enveloping signature of delicate femininity.”

As with the original Her edp, the new fragrance bottle draws inspiration from an archival Burberry fragrance design, in smooth curved glass. It has been updated with a white cap representing blossom trees. The neck features a gold charm which can be personalised with engraved initials.

A gold charm on the bottle neck offers an opportunity for personalisation.

The new fragrance is fronted by British supermodel Cara Delevingne, who is captured in the campaign by Juergen Teller.

Burberry Her Blossom comes in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml, as well as a 7.5ml roll-on. It is now available in travel retail Asia Pacific and will roll out in travel retail Europe on 15 April, followed by travel retail US on 1 June.
