Coty anticipates the arrival of spring with Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue scent

Coty has launched the second fragrance in the Miu Miu fragrance line, L’Eau Bleue eau de toilette, to global travel retail.

Prada designer Miuccia Prada developed the Miu Miu perfume range as an ‘intelligently frivolous’ counterpoint to the main Prada line. According to Coty, the new fragrance is true to this spirit of playfulness.

Created by Perfumer Daniela Andrier, the nose behind all of Prada’s fragrances, L’Eau Bleue aims to capture the moment of realisation that spring has arrived. Notes of lily of the valley combine with green foliage and honeysuckle. A base of earthy akigalawood adds depth and spice.

The bottle, packaged in a blue folding box to be opened like a gift, mirrors the original eau de parfum but this time the quilted glass is a transparent blue topped with a pastel yellow disc.

From 22 February until 30 March, a Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue pop-up store will greet travellers at Singapore Changi Airport. It will be situated beside the Terminal 3 Cosmetics and Perfumes Central Store in the Transit Departure area. The world travel retail-exclusive is a partnership between Singapore Changi Airport and The Shilla Duty Free.

Visitors will be able to sample and purchase Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue Eau de Parfum and the original fragrance Miu Miu Eau de Parfum. In addition, there will be live sketch events where travellers can receive a hand-drawn watercolour portrait sketch with the purchase of a fragrance. A bottle engraving service will enable customers to customise their bottles with their initials.
