Coty and Tiffany & Co. celebrate ‘modern love’ with new fragrances for men and women

‘Love Your Way’: Tiffany & Love celebrates love in all its forms

USA. Tiffany & Co. –in partnership with Coty – have announced the launch of ‘Tiffany & Love for Him’ and ‘Tiffany & Love for Her,’ the brand’s new fragrances for men and women.

The two new scents will be available in worldwide travel retail and local markets this October.

Tiffany & Love’s is the brand’s first foray into the dual fragrance category. Tiffany & Love for Him is also the brand’s inaugural men’s fragrance under Tiffany & Co’s Chief Artistic Officer Reed Krakoff.

According to Krakoff, both scents represent the brand’s intrinsic connection with ‘love and commitment’ and the many ways it is expressed in this modern age. He commented: “As a brand, we’ve always celebrated the enduring power of love in all its forms. Our new Tiffany & Love fragrances are a reflection of modern love and the authentic connections that reflect the strength, joy, and promise we find in one another.”

The fragrances both feature blue sequoia as the hero ingredient, and were created by two different perfume duos. Tiffany & Love for Him was created by IFF perfumers Sophie Labbé and Nicolas Beaulieu. It offers a circus scent with aromatic ginger and mandarin top notes balanced with wood-infused base notes. Tiffany & Love for Her was created by Firmenich perfumers Honorine Blanc and Marie Salamagne. It offers a delicate woody floral scent with top notes of blue basil and grapefruit.

The Tiffany & Love flacons were created by Krakoff and take key design cues from the brand’s instantly recognisable motifs. The bottles offer two new tints of the brand’s signature ‘Tiffany Blue’ hue, and feature contemporary versions of the brand’s ampersand. The women’s fragrance features a Tiffany Blue cap, while the men’s fragrance features an embellished black cap. Both bottles feature a silver plaque that bears the key ingredients of each scent.

Coty Luxury Chief Marketing Officer Simona Cattaneo hopes the launch will resonate with millennial travellers, especially with its message of love and inclusivity. She said, “With the launch of Tiffany & Love, we sought to create fragrances for romantics that define love in their own way.

“The fragrances embody and embrace all forms of love, inspiring all to join the #LoveYourWay conversation by sharing authentic stories of personal love and connection.”

The Tiffany & Love campaign was set in New York City and was shot by artist/photographer Cass Bird. The campaign features intimate moments between couples of all ages and genders and represents the brand’s own vision of ‘modern love’. The campaign also puts a special emphasis on the iconography of the Tiffany & Co. ampersand (the & symbol -Ed). According to the brand, its symbolism is elevated to represent the ‘personal bond between to people.’

The campaign’s musical score is a modern remake of famous song ‘Happy Together’. It was created by Grammy award-winning music producer Mark Ronson and features singer-songwriter King Princess. The campaign will be rolled out to more than 20 markets worldwide followed by digital and social activations themed under the #LoveYourWay hashtag.
