Clogau underlines its ties to British royalty in exclusive collections

Welsh jewellery brand Clogau will launch six new ranges, offering over 40 new travel retail-exclusive products, at next month’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (Yellow Village D35).

The sterling silver and 9ct gold collections include collaborations with Welsh fashion designer David Emanuel, independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, and Swarovski Gemstones.

Royal couturier Emanuel is known for having designed the wedding dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales. With Clogau he aimed to “capture the romance and luxurious extravagance of royal heritage” in designs featuring heart and star motifs, and Swarovski white topaz.

In partnership with Historic Royal Palaces, Clogau has created Kensington pendants, which feature designs in 9ct rose gold said to mirror ornate golden filigree detailed within Kensington Palace gates.

Clogau has also extended its Tree of Life, Inner Charm and Milestones collections, with prices ranging from €99 to €169.

Clogau International Account Manager Aran Turner said: “We have six fantastic new ranges to share with retail partners at this year’s TFWA show and I’m delighted we have been able to work with David Emanuel, Historic Royal Palaces and Swarovski Gemstones.

“As the jewellery channel becomes increasingly competitive in travel retail, Clogau strives to offer retailers a solid precious metal product containing precious and semi-precious gemstones at an affordable price.”

All Clogau jewellery contains a piece of Welsh gold and the British royal family traditionally use Clogau Welsh gold in their wedding bands.

Last month the brand released a new Interlude campaign, aiming to emphasise the brand’s new collections and its “most opulent story to date”.
