NETHERLANDS. Kappé Schiphol has introduced an innovative Observ skin analysis service at its Perfumes & Cosmetics shops at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The retailer claims Observ, which is free of charge, offers passengers an “unprecedented experience” which, once completed, can prompt purchases.

Observ uses different types of light modes to offer a thorough and deep examination of the face and to identify areas that need special attention. It is operated by trained beauticians and skin therapists.

According to Kappé Schiphol, the device checks the deeper layers of the skin to offer customers a “unique insight” into the condition of their skin. Photographs from the device can be forwarded to customers by email.
The retailer noted that, regardless of age, its customers are “very excited” by the Observ service.
