UK. Newcastle International Airport has implemented a new parking booking system supplied by UK specialist Chauntry following its decision to bring car park management in-house.
Newcastle Airport is using a range of Chauntry’s Parkspace reservation and car park management tools, including a new web pre-booking service delivered through the airport’s website (www.newcastleinternational.co.uk)
The airport’s customers have been able to book online for some time, through services operated by parking management partners.
Following the switch to Parkspace, Newcastle’s customers can now manage their bookings online whenever they want, giving them better service and reducing customer service costs.
Commenting on the new system, Newcastle International Airport Car Parking Business Manager George Nesbitt said: “We are delighted with the Chauntry system. The implementation was managed professionally in a timely manner and with minimal fuss. The system provides us with a more user-friendly and operationally efficient system, with immense flexibility and functionality enabling us to offer an improved service to our customers. With Parkspace, we’re in control of everything – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
