FRANCE. Chanel has opened a new boutique at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport featuring three distinct spaces devoted to different product categories.
The 170sq m boutique is located in Terminal 2E by Gate L and officially opened on 20 December. The brand inaugurated its first boutique at Charles de Gaulle in 2014.

Renowned American architectural designer and long-time Chanel partner Peter Marino conceived the new boutique. It has a white marble façade that features two entrances.
The first leads to the ready-to-wear area while the second leads to bags, shoes and other accessories.
Chanel said the boutique’s three distinct spaces allowed it to present “an intimate and elegant atmosphere”. The first space is home to bags, small leathergoods, watches and jewellery.
The second features shoes and costume jewellery. A selection of eyewear is displayed in the centre of these two spaces. The final area focuses on ready-to-wear items.
Marino’s store design includes a grey stone floor covered with rugs, tweed bar stools and poufs, and a fitting room rendered from sycamore wood with gold finishes.
Shoppers can sit on tweed armchairs and sofas to enjoy Chanel runway shows that are projected onto a screen.
