Chabot Armagnac shows its heart with Coeur gift boxes

Chabot Armagnac is using stand-out Coeur gift boxes to boost brand visibility in selected Asian airports.

The Armagnac house said that the silver and gold boxes, which join to form a heart [Coeur is French for heart], are on offer in Singapore Changi, Guangzhou Baiyun and Taiwan Taoyuan airports and will be listed on Korean Air.

The boxes each house 50ml decanters of Chabot’s flagship XO Armagnac, which is aged for up to 30 years.

Chabot Armagnac President Kathleen Gentzbourger said: “The smaller 50cl size and the super-premium packaging makes this an ideal impulse purchase for gifting and offers real stand out on travel retail shelves, as well as being perfect for inflight sales.”

Gentzbourger said Chabot XO is ideal for encouraging dark spirits drinkers to sample Armagnac.

She said the Coeur box shape gives the product “an extra edge on shelf” and is an example of Chabot’s innovative approach. “It is definitely contributing to our strong growth in the travel retail channel,” Gentzbourger added.
