Roman luxury house Bvlgari has debuted an innovative new multi-sensorial experience called Scentsorial. The immersive experience brings Bvlgari’s fragrance collections to life through sight, sound, smell and touch.

Scentsorial first debuted at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes and Bvlgari hopes to roll out the experience in key airport locations around the world. The Moodie Davitt Report Brands Editor & Digital Marketing Manager Hannah Tan-Gillies was one of the first travel retail media to experience Scentsorial during the Cannes show.

The experience was first applied to the Bvlgari Le Gemme collection. Guests enter the Scentsorial space one at a time and gets connected to a wearable device that measures their brainwaves, micro-movements and heartbeat. The Scentsorial journey begins with a synesthetic experience that uses visceral images, a dramatic score, and diffuser technology to evoke the spirit of the scent.

At the end of the experience, guests are given their own one-of-a-kind artwork made from their brain measurements during the experience. The artwork is immediately transformed into an NFT, giving visitors a memorable souvenir. The NFT is created by leveraging the Aura Blockchain Consortium’s NFT Solution and technology.

According to Bvlgari, the Scentsorial experience goes to the heart of the fragrance experience, highlighting every perfume as an emotional journey.
