Brisbane Airport names Jennifer Andrews to key commercial role; Andrew Brodie becomes CEO of Sunshine Coast Airport

AUSTRALIA. Jennifer Andrews has been named Head of Retail and Commercial at Brisbane Airport Corporation.

In a related move, Brisbane Airport Corporation General Manager, Airline and Retail Management fAndrew Brodie was last month appointed CEO at Sunshine Coast Airport, also in Queensland.

Ms Andrews, a graduate of Auckland University, New Zealand, has extensive retail experience, including stints as Senior Centre Manager, AMP Capital Shopping Centres from 2007 until 2012 and Centre Manager for Westfield.

The much-respected Brodie was General Manager, Airline and Retail Management from January 2011 until taking up his new role. At Sunshine Coast Airport he replaces Peter Pallot, who retired at the end of 2018.

Brodie has 27 years’ experience in the aviation and infrastructure sectors. He played a lead role in the ambitious expansion of Brisbane Airport over the past decade, including  significant upgrading of its terminal, retail and food and beverage facilities.

Andrew Brodie played a key role in the commercial transformation of Brisbane Airport.

“Andrew brings with him many years of experience in the aviation, infrastructure, property and tourism sectors, as well as extensive experience working with local, state and federal authorities.

“During his time at Brisbane International Airport, Andrew has been involved with one of the most comprehensive and pace-setting transformations of an airport in Australia. We believe this experience will be invaluable as we undertake a similar transformation and expansion of Sunshine Coast Airport, including the commissioning of a new runway that will massively increase the potential of the airport.”
