AUSTRIA. Bieder & Maier, a fledgling coffee manufacturing business, has opened its debut café in the departures hall of Vienna Airport Terminal 3 in partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail.
Founded just three years ago, Bieder & Maier produces premium coffee products from its home in the Austrian capital and its creations are widely represented in Viennese coffee houses.
The company’s new café at Vienna Airport offers a broad range of breakfasts, paninis and salads in addition to serving its own freshly-roasted coffees.
Bieder & Maier coffees are also available from the café in gift packaging as whole beans, grounded or in capsules for travellers to buy as gifts or to consume at home.
In addition, espresso and cappuccino cups featuring Bieder & Maier designs can be purchased.
Vienna Airport Joint CEO and COO Julian Jäger said: “Fresh coffee aroma and Vienna are inseparable. Due to its exquisite coffee roastings, the young coffee brand Bieder & Maier has quickly established itself in the Viennese culinary scene.”
He added: “With its first proprietary cafè, Bieder & Maier is reinterpreting the traditional Viennese coffee house culture. We are extremely pleased with this opening at the airport. Accordingly, we now offer passengers a further culinary highlight.”
