SWITZERLAND. Beschle Chocolatier Suisse will make its debut at the 2009 TFWA World Exhibition, in a bid to extend its distribution within the global travel retail market (Stand number: Blue Village G3).
The Swiss chocolate brand is looking forward to introducing its entire luxury range to the global travel retail market as it seeks to strengthen its position in the channel. Beschle has already gained some awareness exhibiting at the TWFA Asia Pacific in 2008 and earlier this year.
Beschle’s refined truffles and bars are positioned in both the luxury and high luxury confectionery segments. Each chocolate creation is handmade in Basel, Switzerland, using only the best raw ingredients, Virtuoso Chocolatier craftsmanship and constant innovation, the company said.
“Beschle offers a rare level of luxury confectionery to the travel retail market,” explained Beschle Chocolatier Suisse Managing Director Dominic Beschle.
“With our creation of QUIZAS chocolate bars, we became the first Swiss chocolatier to create and sell chocolates with single origin cocoa from the finest estates in the world. Only a few chocolatiers in the world have access to and the experience of successfully utilising such a rare and fine ingredient.
“This sort of exclusivity does well in travel retail and I see great potential for the Beschle range in key airport locations and with some select airline partners that have the right consumer profile,” he added.
In addition to its QUIZAS bars, Beschle will showcase its entire range at the Cannes show, including truffles presented in colourful boxes that reflect the quality of the chocolates inside.
The range includes the 2009 Jewels Collection, where individual chocolates are wrapped and presented with the same level of attention to detail that precious jewellery might receive.

Buyers keen on more specific travel focused offers may view Beschle’s Travel Retail Collection, developed exclusively for the industry. The range includes the Gold Collection, Red Collection, Boudoir Collection, Beschle Finest Collection, Perfect Match Collection and Ladies Collection.
