Bengaluru International Airport invites bids for range of commercial outlets

INDIA. Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport has launched a tender process for commercial concepts in 13 packages, including duty free stores.

Operator Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) said the concession contract for all the packages will be for three years from the commencement of operation, which is scheduled for mid-2019.

The packages cover both domestic and international operations. Details of the packages are shown here:

Duty free retail units on offer include a 50sq m outlet covering luxury, fashion & accessories; a 150sq m outlet covering luxury cosmetics; and a 165sqm electronics outlet.

Other retail outlets are: a two art & artefacts outlets (100sq m and 130sq m); a 65sq m luxury cosmetics & ayurvedic beauty products outlet; a 50sq m coffee, tea & spices outlet; a 78sq m Indian sweets & chocolates outlet; a 36sq m international fashion accessories outlet; a 36sq m fashion, jewellery & accessories outlet; and a 106.1sq m confectionery, books & travel accessories outlet.

There are also two packages for foreign exchange and baggage wrapping services units, at various locations.
