French winemaker Barton & Guestier (B&G) has revealed a sparkling B&G NectaRose 0.0%, which is presented in a 250ml aluminium bottle.
The premium alcohol-free rosé is based on organic grape juice, with a touch of rose. The drink is natural, vegan friendly, halal, without added sugars, preservatives or added sulphites.

B&G pointed out there is no fermentation during the production of the rosé, with bottling followed by pasteurisation for stabilisation.
B&G said the new expression aims to reach a younger generation of drinkers. “The target group is people who want to socialise and reduce their alcohol intake, and more precisely, women who want to take care of themselves; in spa, after sports, during and after pregnancy, girls night out,” the company added.
The new product also meets the needs of young consumers who prefer RTDs to bottles and underlines B&G’s goals to reduce its carbon footprint and have all its brands environmentally certified.
With a focus on responsible product development, B&G’s innovation team is favouring lightweight bottles, recycled paper for labels and vegetable ink dyes, along with carton outer shippers. The 250ml aluminium bottles weight 35g when empty.
