Bahrain Duty Free strengthens leadership team with Sadeq Ismaeel Abdul Aziz as new Deputy Head of Operations

BAHRAIN. Bahrain Duty Free has appointed Sadeq Ismaeel Abdul Aziz Deputy Head of Operations as part of significant changes in the retailer’s executive leadership team.

Effective 1 February, Aziz will leave his position as Deputy Head of Purchasing to begin leading the Operations Department and in addition become the Board Secretary.

The well-regarded industry professional was selected for this leadership position for his skills and expertise, the company said.

In his new role, Aziz will oversee various departments including Operations, Human Resources and Marketing.

In a social media post, Bahrain Duty Free CEO and Board Director Bassam Al Wardi said: “Sadeq Ismaeel Abdul Aziz has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic thinking in his current role, and we believe that his experience will greatly contribute to the success of his new role.

“His strong background in purchasing will also bring valuable insights to the table, ensuring seamless coordination between all departments. We trust that Sadeq’s capabilities will enable him to excel in the new role.
