SPAIN. Areas has opened an outlet of artisan bread and pastries chain SantaGloria at Bilbao Airport.
SantaGloria’s offering has been adapted to the airport environment, and features a range of sandwiches, freshly-baked breads and a variety of luxury pastry goods.

It joins the recently-unveiled Arrese pop-up store – a concept from one of the Basque region’s most popular and historic bakeries.
The Arrese pop-up, which opened on 28 July, features different types of coffee, baked goods, pastries and truffles.

Areas was awarded a contract to operate five outlets at Bilbao Airport in May. It runs for a period of eight years.
