Angelini Beauty will showcase new fragrances from Blumarine, Trussardi, Laura Biagiotti and Mandarina Duck next week’s TFWA World Exhibition (Riviera Village RD9/RE13).
Blumarine Dange-Rose presents a new take on the floral-woody family with what is described as a contemporary interpretation of the enduring appeal of the rose. The fragrance combines fresh, green top notes of basil flowers and Asian Nashi pear and base notes of cashmere wood, patchouli and white amber around a floral heart of rose of Versailles, freesia and magnolia. Designed to encapsulate dynamic modern femininity, the fragrance has been created by perfumer Pierre-Constantin Gueros.
The fragrance is housed in an oval glass bottle topped by a black conical cap. While the bottle represents a rosebud-shaped precious jewel, it is also described as having a dangerous element, potentially to be used as a weapon. The baroque design of the box is based on a dress embellished with rose petals allowing glimmers of light through. Model Vika Falileeva stars in the accompanying campaign as a character blending fairytale with reality.
The Eau de Parfum will be available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.

Trussardi Riflesso is the latest men’s fragrance from Italian fashion house Trussardi. The woody-oriental takes its inspiration from the heritage of the brand overlaid with a sense of modernity. The Eau de Toilette was created by Véronique Nyberg, a perfumer said to be known for balancing intense emotions with a scientific approach. A citrus top layer of bergamot, pink grapefruit and green apple combines with a floral, aromatic heart of geranium, violet leaves and lavender flowers. The warm, textured base is made up of Italian leather, vetiver and tonka bean.
The “strongly masculine” packaging was designed by architect/designer Carlo Colombo in collaboration with Gaia Trussardi. The ribbed glass bottle imitates a car radiator grille while the cap takes on the look of a steering wheel. In tandem with the fragrance itself, the packaging combines the vintage with the modern.
German model and social influencer André Hamann, famous for his tattoos, is the face of the Trussardi Riflesso campaign. With over 1 million Instagram followers, Hamann is said to embody the successful modern man with a deep connection to his roots and heritage. American Photographer/Director Mark Segal shot the campaign images as well as a Trussardi Riflesso film showing André Hamann abandoning his city skyscraper, escaping on his motorbike back to his childhood villa by the sea in Liguria.
Trussardi Riflesso Eau de Toilette is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.

Laura Biagiotti Roma Rosa and Roma Uomo Cedro are two new fragrances, one for women and one for men, inspired by the original Laura Biagiotti Roma fragrances created in 1988 and 1992 respectively.
Rose and cedar, as well as being the main ingredients of the new fragrances, are also the colour codes: Rose for women as a symbol of beauty, tenderness and femininity and cedar green for men representing Rome’s 320,000 trees.
Roma EDT Rosa, created by Domitille Berthier, is a floral-fruity fragrance based around wild berries, peony and rosebuds. Vivacious top notes of bergamot and wild berries combine with a heart of rosebuds, neroli, jasmine and peony. A base of vanilla, sandalwood and caramelised musk rounds off the fragrance with a layer of sweetness.
Roma Uomo EDT Cedro, created by Annik Menardo is a luminous-woody fragrance which keeps to the structure of the original Roma Uomo while adding a lighter touch. Top notes of cascalone and mandarin combine with an aromatic bouquet. Rhubarb is added to geranium, oak moss and cashmere wood at the heart of the fragrance which finishes with a bittersweet base of Alaskan cedar, Mysore sandalwood, ambergris and Bourbon vanilla.
The bottle designs stay faithful to the architectural shape of the original Roma fragrance flacons: a column for women and a Pantheon frieze for men. The colour codes are a key part of the packaging with Cedro housed in a milky grey, opaline glass bottle in a Travertine green box and Rosa in pink with a Candoglia pink box.

Mandarina Duck Let’s Travel to New York is the first of the brand’s new travel destination collection. The contemporary lifestyle brand, known for its luggage and accessory ranges, is planning a series of destination fragrances for men and women inspired by colour and travel. Colour will play a key part as a destination code identifying each fragrance in the series.
Let’s Travel to New York For Woman is a fruity-floral eau de toilette created by Jean Pierre Mari. Opening with a fresh citrus chord of Italian lemon, bergamot and green apple, the fragrance rounds out with a floral heart of iris and fresh jasmine, bamboo and nectarine atop a sensual base of musk, cedar and sandalwood.
Let’s Travel to New York For Man is an oriental fougère created by Jacques Huclier. Here, a sparkling citrus top layer of bergamot, fresh lavender and carrot seeds combine with an ‘avant-garde floral’ heart of freesia and iris root. A warm base layer is provided by cedar, sandalwood and coumarin (an ingredient said to smell like freshly cut hay).
Both eau de toilettes are available in 100ml only.
The feminine and masculine versions share the same bottle design but in different colour codes: For Woman has a soft green juice and intense pink graphics while For Man has a sky blue juice and orange graphics. The oval glass bottles are ‘stamped’ with a passport stamp featuring the Statue of Liberty.
The metallic box features the famous New York skyline with the same colour lid as the bottles, giving the feminine version silver and fuchsia lettering on a metallic green backdrop and silver and orange lettering on metallic blue for the men.
To accompany the launch, an exclusive, original illustration by Emiliano Ponzi was commissioned. The work of Emiliano Ponzi has featured in The New Yorker, Le Monde and for luxury brands such as Armani and Louis Vuitton. For Let’s Travel to New York, the illustration shows a man and a woman touring New York in an iconic yellow cab. The same couple will also feature in upcoming additions to the Mandarina Duck travel destination fragrance series.
