A world-famous gala dinner star; a World Cup stadium visit and a gripping golf tournament – spectacular Trinity Forum nears

QATAR. The Trinity Forum hosts Qatar Airways, Qatar Duty Free and Hamad International Airport are preparing to put on a spectacular show in Doha – with parties, pop stars, picturesque tours and a power-packed programme.

There are just a few more days left to register online, with a deadline of Monday 21 October (registration is also possible on site during the event).

A stunning Gala Dinner will take place on 31 October at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski on man-made island The Pearl. The Trinity Forum hosts will provide a night full of entertainment including a performance from a famous global pop star and an outdoor after party.

The evening will start with a cultural exhibition sharing the rich local culture and heritage of Doha, featuring live falcons, henna artists, photo booth opportunities and traditional performances. Spirits and wines will kindly be provided by Platinum Partner Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail.

A city tour will take place on the morning of 30 October, in which delegates will be able to explore Doha’s rich cultural heritage, visit its top tourist attractions and see a stadium that will be used during the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Tours of Hamad International Airport will take place throughout the day on 1 November – more details to follow.

Another highlight of the packed social programme is a pink-themed Opening Cocktail event (in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month) to be held on 30 October at the St. Regis Doha Hotel, with cocktails kindly supplied by Platinum Partner Diageo Global Travel.

The St. Regis pool will be coloured pink for the occasion; while all delegates are being asked to wear at least one pink item and hopefully many more, with special prizes on offer. Diageo will offer Baileys Strawberries & Cream in pink glasses and two of the bars will be pink.

The spectacular evening will feature multiple live stations serving a lavish full buffet dinner; a lightshow; live DJ and cocktail bars.

Setting a course: The Trinity Golf Forum is being held at Education City Golf Club in Doha

Registration is also open for The Trinity Golf Forum, which takes place on Tuesday 29 October on one of the world’s most spectacular golf courses ahead of the start of The Trinity Forum a day later.

The Tournament is being held at Education City Golf Club, where it will be hosted by Hamad International Airport, Qatar Duty Free and Qatar Airways.

Described by the hosting partners as a landmark project for Qatar and the world of golf, Education City Golf Club offers a “revolutionary and holistic approach” to one of the world’s most popular sports.

The event features an 18-hole tournament in an Individual Stableford format as well as a Learn Golf clinic for non-players that will teach them the basics of the game and welcome them into the sport.

Delegates can register here.

Clubs will be provided free of charge, as will lunch and refreshments throughout the day. After the golf, a BBQ and prize-giving ceremony will be held.

A final tournament draw sheet will be sent to registered players on 27 October. Those with a smartphone are asked to download the Golf Genius Application for their device and enter the GGID code – SHMVFS – into the required field to make use of a live scoring system.
