A de Fussigny marks Dubai Duty Free’s 35th anniversary with 1983 Vintage

A de Fussigny has released a limited-edition 1983 Vintage Cognac to mark Dubai Duty Free’s 35th anniversary.

The Grande Champagne Cognac was bottled in June and is exclusive to Dubai Duty Free. It is cask strength, with a 42.6% ABV and retails at AED1983 (US$540).

The Cognac has a gold colour with amber hues. On the nose it offers dry fruits – including prune, apricot, raisin and figs – vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon and hints of oak wood and rancio, which, on tasting, combine with caramel and almonds.

A de Fussigny toasts Dubai Duty Free’s 35th anniversary with a 1983 Vintage.

Gulf Beverages Travel Retail Manager Chirag Aggarwal said: “We constantly engage with our brand partners to offer such exclusive editions for our customers and we feel privileged to be part of Dubai Duty Free’s success.”

The A de Fussigny distillery was established in 1814 on the banks of the Charente River in Cognac. Its range includes Creation and Collection, with four and five expressions respectively, and Millésime with 1970 and 1988 expressions. L’Héritage de A de Fussigny is a limited edition, presented in a crystal carafe, designed to celebrate the brand’s 200th anniversary.
