‘100 eaux-de-vie in every drop’ – Martell launches latest limited-edition Cordon Bleu expression

Martell has revealed its annual Cordon Bleu limited-edition bottle and giftbox, the result of a collaboration between the Cognac house and artist and graphic designer Christoph Niemann. Titled ‘100 eaux-de-vie in every drop’, the line is part of the Martell Cordon Bleu Collection.

Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail is offering an exclusive version of the colourful design in travel retail with a recommended price of US$276 for a one-litre bottle.

To mark the gifting season, Martell is introducing Cordon Bleu ‘100 eaux-de-vie in every drop’

The Martell Cordon Bleu Collection Christoph Niemann bottle is available now in selected airports and duty free locations across Hainan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the USA and Australia.

‘100 eaux-de-vie in every drop’ takes inspiration from Martell Cordon Bleu’s blend of over 100 different eaux-de-vie. Niemann chose to use a drop motif in his designs following a visit to Maison Martell in Cognac and experiencing blending and tasting with Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud.

The gift box features black and white photos of the Martell cellars and vineyards, taken by Niemann during his visit to Cognac. The combination of the photographs and the colourful drops aims to convey the heritage and modernity of Maison Martell.

“My aim was to create a visual universe that conveyed the emotions of discovering the world of Cognac with Martell – an experience that can be shared wherever you are,” Niemann said.

“For me, it is really important that storytelling is relatable, personal and honest. The photos bring emotional texture, transposing my impressions so people instantly get it without having been there.”
