Philadelphia Airport extends retail and dining range with local and national brands

USA. MarketPlace PHL has introduced new names to the shopping and dining line-up at Philadelphia International Airport, amid an expansion of the concessions programme.

New stores feature luxury brand Coach (B/C Connector), bags, luggage and fragrance house Vera Bradley (D/E Connector), sports apparel and merchandise name PHL Sports (B/C Connector), Heritage Books (B/C Connector) and consumer technology retailer InMotion Entertainment (Concourse A East).

Refined look: The Coach offer features handbags, leathergoods and accessories in its new store in the B/C Connector.

The dining additions are Yards Brewery Company (Concourse A East), the first local brewery to join the Philadelphia Marketplace, and US coffee roaster and retailer LaColombe (B/C Connector) with its fourth location at the airport.

Local flavour: PHL Sports (above), Yards Brewery Company and a new location for LaColombe (bottom).

“These new merchants give our passengers even more options when it comes to shopping and dining, and there’s still more to come in 2019,” said MarketPlace PHL Vice President and General Manager Mel Hannah. “We are proud of the diverse options we’re able to provide the 30 million passengers who pass through our airport each year.”

Philadelphia Marketplace will soon add accessories retail brand 5th & Sunset to its line-up. In the coming months, additional stores and restaurants will also open.

As we reported last week, Areas will open national brand California Pizza Kitchen and local eatery Bud & Marilyn’s at Philadelphia International after capturing a recent concession.
