‘We’ll answer Ireland’s call’: Aer Rianta International goes green in Dublin

IRELAND. Ireland’s first official Rugby World Cup store opened in Aer Rianta International‘s (ARI) The Loop at Dublin Airport Terminal 1 last week.

The new, 54sq m store stocks a wide selection of Irish Rugby branded clothing, including men’s and ladies leisurewear and gifts and souvenirs.

ARI Head of Retail at Dublin Airport Jackie McDonagh said: “An estimated 70,000 World Cup tickets have been sold in Ireland so we’re expecting lots of fans to travel to the UK for the games. Supporters can stock up on all the latest official rugby world cup merchandise before they fly.

Shoulder to shoulder, we’ll answer Ireland’s call: Adam Whelan, Jenny Oliver and Niall Leyden at Aer Rianta International’s Official Rugby Cup Store, Dublin Airport“The new outlet is a great addition to The Loop and complements the recently revamped shopping area. We have plans to bring the Official Rugby Cup store to T2 in September,” she added.

The Rugby World Cup opens on Friday, 18 September. Ireland plays its first match against Canada in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Saturday, 19 September, with other games to follow versus Romania and Italy, before the big showdown against France in Cardiff on 11 October. The loser of that match is likely to be drawn against reigning champions, the All Blacks, in the quarter-finals, whereas the winner will play either Argentina or Tonga.

All matches will be shown live in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
