Puig announces major fragrance launch from Carolina Herrera

Good Girl is the latest addition to House of Herrera Fragrances and provides another dimension to the brand’s portfolio as an edgy, modern fragrance.

Described as an ultra-feminine fragrance for the woman of today, it is inspired by the “unapologetic duality” of the contemporary woman: of femininity and sensuality; elegance and irreverence; romance and independence.

Said to be the first fragrance bottle in the shape of a high heel, the bottle itself is designed to represent the power of modern femininity. It features a stiletto of smoky, midnight blue glass balanced on a spindly gold heel and a complex internal pressure system that allows the spray to be diffused from the release near the top of the bottle. According to Carolina Herrera, the system took four years and 600 tests to perfect.

Good Girl was developed by House of Herrera Fragrances Creative Director Carolina Herrera de Baez, the daughter of Carolina Herrera, founder and head of the eponymous fashion house. Working together with master perfumer Louise Turner the team aimed to develop a fragrance that incorporated both light and dark aspects. The light is provided by jasmine; the dark by cocoa and tonka. Further notes include almond and coffee for vibrancy and richly delicate tuberose.

Good Girl (in 50ml and 80ml) will be available in all travel retail regions beginning with Asia Pacific and Europe in August 2016 followed by the Middle East and Americas in September 2016.

Puig said it was planning a series of high-profile promotions in targeted airport locations in all regions.
