UAE. Dubai Airports has partnered with car booking app Careem to offer ground transport discounts to Dubai residents using Dubai International Airport.
Travellers booking the ‘Ride Later’ Careem service to arrive at the airport three hours in advance of their flight time will receive a +25% discount.
The offer is part of Dubai Airports’ ‘HangOut@DXB’ programme which aims to incentivise and reward passengers who arrive early at the airport during the busy summer peak season. The discount is available between 30 June and 1 September.
“Dubai International has over 150 food & beverage options, world-class shopping and promotions, spas, competitive currency exchange options and pharmacies, live entertainment and a host of other services designed for international travellers,” said Dubai Airports Executive Vice President of Commercial & Communications Eugene Barry. “Our partnership with Careem is an example of how Dubai Airports is working to ensure that our customers’ summer adventure starts at the airport.”
Introduced last year, HangOut@DXB will feature prize giveaways, promotions, musical performances and sports screenings.
