SWITZERLAND. Zürich Airport is offering passengers and visitors the opportunity to “rediscover the airport district” through a three-day Circle ‘Quartierfest’ Festival from 6-8 May.
The airport’s Circle lifestyle and business centre, which opened in November 2020, is set to take on a new look with food trucks, live music, carousels, trampolines and Circle tours all part of a programme designed to appeal to visitors of all ages.
Sets by DJ Minus 8, alpaca trekking in the Circle park, park rangers’ tours and a virtual gaming lounge are also included, with the support of the airport’s mascot Rolli roll case.
As reported, the Circle complex houses shops and restaurants, headquarters for international companies, two hotels, a congress centre and premises for medical services for a “complete urban centre” with global connections via the airport.
Selected restaurants and bars are supporting the Circle Festival. L’Oro di Napoli is offering a Pizza Festival while the Sablier Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is featuring a French tasting’ menu. Leon’s Loft, with “tasty American hot dogs and feel-good food”, the Babel restaurant and Zoom Restaurant & Bar are also highlighted during the festival.
