Zippo Manufacturing Company will introduce new lines, including casino and Americana-based designs for lighters, at next week’s Summit of the Americas in Orlando (booth 1123).
Products from the company’s annual Complete Line catalogue will be presented at the exhibition.
Zippo Director of Licensing and Travel Retail Violet Snyder said: “We have noticed some definite trends on what designs best resonate in the duty free retail landscape. Americana designs seem to be a perennial favourite, no matter the location.
“Custom designs, especially for tourism and destination locations, are especially popular. When a location adds a custom design or two to their Zippo lighter display, they see results. It generates faster turns for both custom and stock designs alike.”
Zippo offers a 30-piece minimum on custom designs.
Other new lighter designs include casino, which is finished with Zippo’s Fusion process to create an iridescent metallic look reminiscent of stained glass. The Hamsa (also known as the Hand of Fatima) features a detailed copper-finish emblem, with patterns and bands of enamel on a black matte lighter.
Zippo has extended its product range to include wallets, eyewear and fragrances, produced in collaboration with Italian perfume house Mavive. New outdoor products for the US market include the Rechargeable Hand Warmer.
