Wimbledon tennis partner Sipsmith gin launches global travel retail exclusive expression

Sipsmith is to launch a limited-edition, Wimbledon-inspired London Dry Gin bottle, available exclusively in global travel retail, this month. It follows the announcement that Sipsmith is the Official Gin Partner of The Championships, Wimbledon 2021. The one-litre bottle will be available through Dufry at selected UK airports, including London Heathrow, Stansted and Luton.

The limited-edition collectible bottle is adorned with both Sipsmith’s swan and Wimbledon’s hawk, Rufus, surrounded by emblems that emphasise the Britishness of the Championships.

A bespoke activation with Dufry at Heathrow Terminal 2 during June and July will be a showcase for the heritage, tradition and craftsmanship of the gin and a celebration of Britain, said the brand owner. Travellers will also have the opportunity to win Centre Court and Grounds Pass tickets for The Championships 2022 in a competition. The playful bottle design takes cues from Sipsmith’s British heritage
