UK. WH Smith has named Phil McNally as Managing Director, International Travel, excluding Australia. He was previously Commercial Director for WHSmith’s High Street division. The move is effective from this month.
Both McNally and Managing Director, Australia Carl Hargrave will report to CFO/COO Robert Moorhead, who will oversee all of the International business.
WHSmith Chief Executive Stephen Clarke said: “As the group continues to grow and develop, it is essential that each business is able to focus on its individual strategic priorities. Phil’s appointment will support this further while reflecting the increasing importance of the growth of International Travel to the group. Please join me in congratulating Phil in his new role.”
