WHSmith extends Malaysian network at Senai International Airport

MALAYSIA. WHSmith’s International division has entered Malaysia’s southern Johor region with the opening of three stores at Senai International Airport.

The retailer manages a combined store area of over 900sq m across the international and domestic departure lounges, as well as a landside store. WHSmith and partner Bison Consolidated Berhad now run 11 stores in the country.

The new stores include local and international newspapers, magazines and books, digital products, souvenirs, snacks, drinks and travel accessories.

WHSmith International Chairman Louis de Bourgoing said: “We are delighted to be opening our first stores in Senai International Airport.
