SINGAPORE. WH Smith International Travel has opened the first of ten stores at Singapore Changi, in the airport’s newly-unveiled Terminal 4.

The new WH Smith store concept at T4 offers news, books and stationery. It features a contemporary design, with light wood and white finishing to enhance the in-store passenger experience, the retailer said.

WH Smith has also used clear navigational signage to ease the customer journey and ensure passengers are able to quickly access required products.

The remaining nine stores at Changi will have phased openings between January and March 2018 across the four terminals.

“We are delighted to open the first of our stores in Changi Airport and look forward to providing passengers with a compelling offer as they pass through the airport,” said WH Smith Group Chief Executive Stephen Clarke.
