Waldemar Behn to debut Danzka The Spirit in Asia Pacific

Waldemar Behn will introduce travel retail-exclusive Danzka The Spirit to the Asia Pacific region at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand B34).

The pure vodka, which combines the highest distilling arts with Scandinavian design traditions, is made from raw wheat and Nordic water naturally filtered.

Since launching in October last year, Danzka The Spirit has been listed with King Power Thailand, Dubai Duty Free, Gebr. Heinemann, Dufry, Lotte Duty Free and Shilla Duty Free.

Following the introduction of the Danzka Twinpack and four-bottle case last year, Waldemar Behn is launching the Danzka mini pack which includes four x 5ml bottles of Danzka original, Danzka apple, Danzka citrus and Danzka cranraz.

The company recorded a positive trend for its Asian travel retail business in 2016 and is enthusiastic about the outlook for 2017. “Promotions featuring the new Danzka communication platform were extremely well perceived and accepted,” said Behn. “Danzka managed to expand its presence and participation in this market, sales are growing well and we have been very active to support the brand in most markets across Asia.

“We featured Danzka with Dufry in Bali for the high season months from October to February 2017 as well as Heinemann Sydney in December 2016 and we will support the brand and the promotion further throughout the year.”

Behn said its main goal for Asia duty free in 2017 is to continue to increase the distribution of its core brand Danzka and launch Danzka The Spirit throughout the region.
