Mondelez World Travel Retail, a member of the Mondelēz International family, is one of today’s (18 November) featured exhibitors during the Virtual Travel Retail Buyers & Bonanza Month.
To visit the Expo click here (note: If you have not registered to attend the Expo, you can do so here free of charge if you are involved in the travel retail sector).
The month-long bonus exhibition period offers visitors the chance to win a return business class flight to Doha from any Qatar Airways location in the world courtesy of Diamond Partner Qatar Duty Free. The award-winning Hamad International Airport retailer is also offering weekly US$250 shopping vouchers, drawn from registrants who on any day visit the Qatar Duty Free/Hamad International Airport virtual experience zone and the suites of our Exhibitors of the Day.
Mondelez World Travel Retail outlines its 2022 strategy to lead confectionery recovery and drive engagement through relevant product promotions and offers, immersive experiences and a strong sustainability agenda.
Its wide portfolio covers all main confectionery categories – chocolate, biscuit, gum and candy – and includes leading brands such as Toblerone, Milka, Cadbury, Oreo, Daim, Côte d’Or, Mirabell, Marabou, Freia, Trident, Stimorol and Bassett’s.
Key brands Toblerone, Cadbury and Milka are among those highlighted in vivid 360-degree virtual environments. Each brand room offers interactive elements spotlighting core USP’s and special projects.
The Snacking Area features Mondelez WTR’s Snacking catalogue and display stands, while Sustainability details the company’s commitments and projects.
The confectionery powerhouse is leveraging the strength of core brand Toblerone to support One Tree Planted via a travel retail campaign, with a donation made and a tree planted for every purchase at selected locations.
Mondelez WTR Senior Business Development Manager Iris Litschauer leads a fascinating Experience Arena session, underlining its sustainability mission to lead environmental change that is “right for travellers and for the planet”. She is joined by CircleSquare Account Director Abby Loadeer and Gebr Heinemann Category Manager Frank D. Hansen.
The session highlights the recent zero-waste Cocoa Life activation at Oslo Airport, a first for Mondelez WTR globally, and the confectionery category leader hopes to inspire even greater advances in how sustainability is prioritised in the channel.
