Virtual Expo Arena to open through much of 2021

INTERNATIONAL. Following the success of the inaugural Virtual Travel Retail Expo this October, which attracted 124 exhibitors and 4,373 unique visitors, organiser The Moodie Davitt Report revealed today that it will open the Virtual Expo Arena from March through December 2021 to house a variety of sector, in-house, and contracted events.

As revealed, The Moodie Davitt Report has partnered with the International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and ASUTIL to host Summit of the Americas – A Virtual Experience next April.

We have also partnered with leading beauty title BW Confidential to produce Beauty Tech Live, an exciting virtual expo dedicated to the burgeoning world of beauty technology, from April 12 to 16. Several other events are already in the pipeline with more in various stages of negotiation.

The Moodie Davitt Report will continue to partner with Singapore, Hong Kong and London-based integrated design and communications agency FILTR to provide virtual events of the highest class. Each will feature a uniquely tailored environment.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “The positive reaction to our first virtual event and the learnings and improvements we will take from it, make us confident about the future of the digital format – perhaps in combination with physical shows where circumstances permit.

“We don’t deploy ‘off the peg’ software solutions but choose instead to curate unique expo experiences of varying duration via our partners FILTR and add ambitious and engaging knowledge and experiential components. By keeping the Virtual Expo Arena open throughout much of the year we are hosting travel retail’s (and beyond’s) biggest and best virtual venue, one that offers companies, organisations and whole business sectors tailor-made solutions for their international, regional or national gatherings.”
