Victorinox makes three key appointments, looking to deliver greater partner support and drive growth

Victorinox has strengthened its travel retail team with three appointments in key markets: Europe, Asia and South America.

The brand, best known as the maker of the “Original Swiss Army Knife”, has shown constant growth in travel retail over the past few years, increasing its presence to over 40 airports worldwide, the company said.

The new appointments aim to strengthen the Victorinox travel retail team in line with this ongoing expansion. In particular, the brand said it hopes to increase awareness of Victorinox as a multi-category brand.

“This is a hugely important step as we look to grow our footprint in this dynamic and increasingly competitive channel.” – Victorinox Head of Travel Retail Thomas Bodenmann.

Marcos Zobel has assumed responsibility for all categories in travel retail for the Latin American region. He is based in Miami.

Florent Breton has taken charge of travel retail in Europe. He is based in Ibach, at the company’s headquarters.

Jeanne Luk is based in Hong Kong and will support the development of the company’s travel retail business in Asia.

Victorinox Head of Travel Retail Thomas Bodenmann said: “We now have three dedicated travel retail area executives who will drive the company’s growth in their respective regions.

“With these appointments we will be able to offer far greater support to our partners while continuing to build awareness of Victorinox as a multi-category brand. This is a hugely important step as we look to grow our footprint in this dynamic and increasingly competitive channel.”
