Dany Nasr: Joins URW Airports as it embarks on its latest high-profile projects in the US market

USA. Retail developer Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has named Dany Nasr as CEO of its URW Airports division. He is tasked with spearheading growth across the group’s portfolio of airport and transit hub retail programmes.

URW Executive Vice President of Airports Mike Salzman left the company in late 2022, with the CEO role created as a new position.

“Dany’s extensive airport experience in North America and across the globe will strongly benefit our clients, partners and the communities we serve,” said URW US Chief Operating Officer Dominic Lowe.

“He’s a proven leader who will successfully deliver our pipeline of dynamic projects and create new business partnerships in the US and Europe for our airports and transit hub platform.”

Nasr joins URW Airports as it begins its role as the exclusive commercial developer and manager for the landmark new US$9.5 billion Terminal One at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The company is also working with clients and partners to launch a series of big projects and collaborations at Los Angeles International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Westfield World Trade Center in New York City.

Before joining URW, most recently Nasr was an operating partner at investment group CDPQ, supporting its large infrastructure transport investments.

He previously served as CEO North America at Swissport, where he also was CEO and Senior Vice President Europe, and CFO Americas and Asia. Nasr also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Montreal and Zürich. ✈
