UAE’s largest McDonald’s airport restaurant opens at Dubai International

UAE. Dubai Airports and McDonald’s UAE today officially opened the region’s largest McDonald’s airport restaurant at Dubai International Airport concourse B.

The 675sq m restaurant is designed with the customer in mind, reflecting Dubai Airports’ ongoing mission to transform the experience for its 230,000-plus daily passengers.

McDonalds UAE Managing Director Rafic Fakih, McDonalds UAE Board Member Mohamed Mubarak AlKhaili and Dubai Airports Commercial Group Executive Vice President Eugene Barry at the opening of the restaurant.

The restaurant is designed to address the needs of all travellers, from solo business and leisure passengers to groups and families.  Zoned seating, a table-service option and 16 self-ordering kiosks allow customers to tailor their experience. The restaurant is one of five McDonald’s at the airport.

The opening is one of several measures Dubai Airports has taken to elevate the passenger experience. These include a free movie service with ICFLIX, an ongoing art initiative artDXB, Early Birds discounts of up to 25%, the first ‘Jones the Grocer’ in an airport and a new sleep lounge ‘sleep ‘n fly’. The operator has several more projects in the pipeline.
