Troika targets travellers with new bags and accessories

German gift specialist Troika has extended its range of products for business and leisure travellers.

The 25cm x 35cm Mon Carry bag is designed to carry what a business traveller would normally have in a small office, said the company.

Its compartments offer space for documents and files, tablets and laptops up to 13 inches. An extra compartment is secured by flexible elastic straps and the grey/black polyester bag can be attached to luggage.

Troika Saftsack takes its name from the German word saft, juice in English. It features an integrated USB cable to ensure mobile devices have the ‘juice’ they require. The bag, claims the company, “brings order to the digital disarray” of cables, adapters and power packs.

The business backpack offers space for electronic devices up to 13 inches, and has an extra compartment for documents; accessories are secured with elastic bands. Shoulder straps can be stowed away to turn the backpack into a sporty briefcase. It can also be attached to the handle of a suitcase.

Troika Managing Director Liudger Böll said: “Troika bags and accessories stand out because the aspect of making travelling easier is always put in focus in the process of designing a product.

“We always try to help solve daily travel challenges and think a little further. Here the emphasis is put on better organisational solutions, especially for mobile electronic devices, cables, travel documents and the mobile office.”

The brand’s Security Belt/Pouch offers space for all travel documents. One of its two zipped compartments has DataSafe readout protection for NFC or RFID chips on credit and bank cards. The 280 x 130 x 5mm belt is made of polyester, weighs 58g and can be customised with a printed logo.

Troika’s Security Belt offers Datasafe protection for bank and credit cards.

All three products were highlighted at this month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes where Troika also launched a Lilipad+Liliput notebook and pen set.

Böll added: “The travel retail sector is of great importance for strengthening our worldwide brand awareness. It is beneficial for the local business when the brand is seen at travel retail locations around the world.”

He said Troika aimed to extend its network to include further locations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. An adjustable Freerail PoS unit will be available on the European market, before its placement in Asia, Böll added.
