Treasury Wine Estates releases two exclusive editions for DFS Masters of Wines and Spirits

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is launching two luxury wine editions in conjunction with DFS, as part of the retailer’s sixth annual Masters of Wines and Spirits (MOWS) event in Singapore this weekend.

Penfolds Bin 707 Imperial, developed to celebrate Boeing’s 100th anniversary, is a Cabernet Sauvignon which celebrates Penfolds’ long connection to the Boeing 707 aircraft. Each wine case is handmade and reflects the iconic elements inspired by the original Boeing 707, including seatbelt hardware, metallic lines and rivets and an original limited-edition horn button. The medallions were placed into the steering column, or yoke, of an original Boeing 707, signifying the start of a new era in modern travel, and are sought-after by aviation enthusiasts globally.

Wolf Blass Black Label Montgomery Trophy Collection, curated by Wolf Blass Chief Winemaker Chris Hatcher, includes six consecutive back vintage Wolf Blass Black Label wines (1976 to 1981). All of the wines were awarded the Montgomery Trophy (Best Red Wine in Show, Royal Adelaide Wine Show) from 1978 to 1983. The collection of wines is the only one available in the world and is exclusive to DFS.

Treasury Wine Estates Marketing Director Global Travel Retail Christopher Thomas said: “We are delighted to partner with DFS at this amazing event. We are showcasing some of the most sought after luxury wines in our portfolio with distinctive stories, which makes them a collector’s dream. TWE and DFS passionately believe that the wine category in travel retail can be grown through offering travellers the chance to buy products that are unique and special.”
