CHINA. Travel sets are proving a big hit in China travel retail for Foreo, affirmation of the Swedish beauty tech and wellness brand’s long-term belief in the importance of the concept.
“Sets perform very well in China’s duty free channel,” the company said. “In 2020, set SKUs were the second-biggest purchase for Foreo in terms of sales volumes, topped only by the LUNA mini 3.”
Foreo noted that it painstakingly curates each set based on season and product launch. “As you wander the airport waiting for your boarding announcement to be called, many products catch your attention,” it said. “However, the ones that stand out the most are travel retail sets – designed to cater specifically to travellers’ needs, these sets often double up as thoughtful gifts for loved ones waiting back home.”
According to Foreo, travel retail beauty sets provide excellent value to the customer and also enhance the skincare routine. Customers can choose from sets, packaged in pairs or even trios, that cater to their skin concern, colour preference, or the presence of top-selling items.
“Well-designed packaging and the ease and availability of a good skincare experience also makes travel sets a top choice when it comes to consumer purchases,” Foreo commented.
With so many options to choose from, travel retail sets also accelerate the selection process, with many consumers choosing to opt for quick and simple sets that feature the best products, at “irresistible” price points, Foreo said. Well-curated sets also highlight important product features, making it easier for customers to decide on a purchase.
Travel retail sets include seasonal Winter and Candy Collection sets featuring LUNA, BEAR value sets, and an upcoming UFO 2 edition. Foreo said that it is committed to catering to all customers, providing numerous options with curated sets.
