Travel Food Services ‘keeps festive spirits alive’ with cake mixing ceremony at Indian airports

The ceremony followed strict social distancing guidelines and was held at airports in Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.

INDIA. India’s leading travel F&B company Travel Food Services (TFS) hosted a traditional cake mixing ceremony at Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), Chennai International Airport and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (Kolkata).

The cake mixing ceremony is an annual Indian custom that involves the mixing of dried fruits, spice mixes, liquor and various other flavours to create ‘Christmas Plum Cakes’ for year-end festivities.

TFS followed strict social-distancing guidelines for this year’s ceremony. This included the use of PPEs, face masks, head covers, shoe covers and separate mixing trolleys.
