Top retailers to speak at Wine O’Clock in Cannes

FRANCE. A retailer’s panel discussion featuring Dubai Duty Free Manager Purchasing and Research Sharon Beecham, Gebr Heinemann Purchase Director Ruediger Stelkens and Lagardère Travel Retail Business Director (Spirits, Wine & Beer) – Asia Scott Hamilton will be a highlight of the travel retail industry’s first wine seminar – Wine O’Clock – to be held in Cannes on Sunday 29 September.

There will also be plenty of fine wine tasting, courtesy of the sponsors (see below), a revealing report from m1ndset’s Peter Mohn, and a special surprise.

Retailers and buyers are warmly invited to Wine O’Clock, which will start at 16.00, a perfect lead-in to the Opening Cocktail. Entry is complimentary to all retailers.

Wine O’Clock is co-hosted by The Moodie Davitt Report and integrated retail marketing agency FILTR. The event is designed to put the spotlight on the wine category and its burgeoning potential in travel retail. Brand owners representing several key wine-producing nations will participate in and co-sponsor the event, which will also feature an exclusive tasting session.
