Tom Ford Beauty is poised to extend its Orchid perfume line with new Velvet Orchid Lumière.
The fragrance opens with Italian bergamot, mandarin, honey and succan absolute notes. A Velvet Orchid accord of Jasmine absolute, Turkish rose oil and Cattleya Leopoldii orchid intertwines with Tom Ford’s signature Black Orchid. At the base, vanilla is rounded out with labdanum, sandalwood and myrrh.
The classic fluted-glass bottle with art deco-inspired lines has been recast in a matte dark purple finish. A gold-toned embossed plaque embellishes the bottle, finished with a golden neck cord.
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumière will be available from December in global travel retail.
