The Trinity Forum set for revised 1-3 November dateline in Bangkok

THAILAND. The 2017 Trinity Forum will take place on the revised dates of 1-3 November in Bangkok, hosted by King Power International Company (Thailand). The original dates of 25-27 October overlap with the planned 26 October cremation of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who died last year.

Out of respect for the period of national mourning that will coincide with this important event, King Power International and organisers The Moodie Davitt Report and ACI have decided to move the event to the following week.

Registration for the much-anticipated 2017 Trinity Forum is open with ‘early bird’ rates currently available. Delegates can register for the event by clicking here.

The Trinity Forum, the world’s leading airport commercial revenues conference, is a tri-partite alliance between The Moodie Davitt Report, Airports Council International (ACI) and ACI Asia-Pacific.

As reported, the event will take place at the Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel, next to the retailer’s spectacular Rangnam Road downtown duty free store.

We will publish the agenda and a comprehensive line-up of speakers soon. Among the names already confirmed are King Power International Company Chief Executive Officer Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha; China Duty Free Group President Charles Chen; Fraport Senior Vice President Sales & Customer Relations Winfried Hartmann; WHSmith CEO Steve Clarke; Kian Gould, Founder of airport omnichannel retail pioneer AOE; with many others to be revealed soon.

The Trinity Forum will begin with an Opening Cocktail reception on 1 November, followed by the conference on 2 and 3 November, with a Gala Dinner to be hosted on the night of the 2nd. An additional social programme for those intending to stay on in the Thai capital is being arranged.

The Trinity Forum, first held in 2003, seeks to improve dialogue and mutual understanding between airports, concessionaires and brands to the benefit of that critical fourth party – the travelling consumer.

Dufry, Mars International Travel Retail and L’Oréal Travel Retail are Platinum Partners for Trinity 2017. Furla are a lunch partner and Godiva a coffee break partner. Additional partners to date include Marshall Arts and Travel Food Services.
